Gillingstool School have a plot and all well behaved children are welcomed at the Allotments
The Gillingstool School scarecrow came first in the Scarecrow Competition and was the first thing that Open day visitors saw when they came through the allotment gate.

There were lots of children at the Open Day and when they had finished looking at the allotments they were entertained by Elizabeth Vooght in her Story Corner

It is really good to young children being taught the art of gardening by their grandparents, and in some cases their great grandparents. Young Jack is a quick learner and can probably show great grandad Mike a few things!
